OUR VISION
Our vision is that the Perth Hills and flats are able to be enjoyed by all who live, work and play here now and in the future; where the lush bushland and biodiversity values that make it such a unique and special place are protected and where the proposed construction of the Eastlink WA Highway is declared permanently untenable.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to research, inform and communicate the irreparable harm that will result to the environment, heritage, health and communities if the proposed EastLink WA Highway is built and represent the community in opposing its construction.
OUR VALUES
To work with all stakeholders and go the extra country mile to protect the Perth Hills and flats from the construction of the EastLink WA Highway.

Rethink EastLink handed over a petition carrying more than 1,000 signatures from individuals alarmed by the prospect of this Highway, and the irreparable harm to the environment, heritage, health, local business and community along its route.
On Sunday 5th February, 2023, Rethink EastLink along with 2,000 other concerned residents gathered in support of community action group, Save Perth Hills, who have long sounded the alarm about outdated and environmentally destructive plans for Perth Hills.
A clear message resonated throughout the day: we must protect our precious and unique biodiversity from being destroyed for urbanisation, that we must persevere, and that we must work together to speak for nature because once it's gone...it's gone. If approved, these plans for Perth Hills would impact everyone, but the future belongs to young people. Everyone can have a role to play in leaving future generations the chance to enjoy Perth Hills as we have.
If you belong to a neighbourhood club, business, or organisation, why not invite us to your upcoming event? We can provide talks or lead engaging discussions on EastLink WA, and would love to hear from you.
